This One I Give To You

This one I give to you. It’s different from the heap.

This one I give to you. The others I will keep.

I bless my situation, though I haven’t got a clue

How to solve this problem, what to or not to do.

I pray for resolution. Please lift this weight from me.

I know you have a plan that I hope one day to see.

It shows up in my dreams. It’s with me every day -

A deep unyielding sadness, that longs to go away.

I’m not sure where to turn, so straight to you I go

To ask if you will take this. I’m sure you won’t say no.

I know your arms are full with requests beyond compare.

I know you’ll find the room and will handle all with care.

This one I give to you. It’s different from the heap.

This one I give to you. The others I will keep.
