The Loveless

We must help the poor. The hungry we must feed.

The impoverished, the downtrodden, those who are in need.

The loveless are the penniless, the ones who go without;

No family, no friends, no God to speak about.

No love to understand or lend a helping hand;

No love to make them whole, sustain or feed their soul.

We must help the indigent, those who live with less.

The meager we must pray for asking God to save and bless.

The loveless are the miserable, the ones who go without;

No family, no friends, no God to speak about.

No love to keep them warm or shelter from the storm;

No love to fill their cup, support or lift them up.
