Pay Me In Love

Pay me in sunshine. Pay me in love. Pay me in clarity.

This is what I desire for the honor of serving Thee.

I want to feel the warmth of Your love upon my heart.

This is what I desire for my role and humble part.

I enjoy the work and process. It’s easy to obey,

Building faith and consciousness with every brick I lay.

Pay me in sunshine. Pay me in love. Pay me in clarity.

This is what I desire for the honor of serving Thee.

I yearn to understand more. I wish to learn and grow.

This is what I desire that I pray You will bestow.

I want You to be proud of me. I’ll push myself beyond

What feels comfortable and safe if it cultivates our bond.
