Every problem, every challenge… I know just what I need.

The answer never changes no matter how I plead.

More God when I am angry and when I’m feeling hateful;

More God when I am selfish and when I am ungrateful.

More God when I’m uncertain and when I’m feeling fearful;

More God when I am down and when my eyes are tearful;

More kindness to convey, more love to give away;

More light to fight the gray, more faith that all’s okay.

More God when I’m resentful and feel life isn’t fair;

More God when I’m indifferent and I fail to act or care.
