Tell me that we made it, the time is now and we are here.

Surprise me in this moment as you shout, “Open your eyes!”

Happy Here Day! Happy Now Day! Happy clarity and blue skies!

Do not tell me to keep going. Do not tell me a little more.

Tell me it is at hand and that it is knocking on my door.

No more walking in the darkness for what felt like eternity

Just smooth sailing in the light, feeling grateful and carefree.

Do not tell me it is soon. Do not tell me almost there.

Tell me the wait is over along with weariness and wear.

A difficult situation that we triumphed and survived.

Ring the bells. Sound the trumpets. We have landed. We have arrived.
