Free Yourself

A slave to whom you dislike, shackled by all you disdain.

A captive to whom you resent, negative feelings that chain.

Feelings that damage and wound strengthen the ties that bind.

Emotions that cripple and harm, awareness and courage to find.

Awareness of what anchors, feelings of a negative state;

Courage to call to let go of what fails to liberate.

Drop the feeling. Lose the pain. Free yourself. Break the chain.

Drop the feeling. Lose the pain. Free yourself. Much to gain.

A slave to whom you deplore, shackled by all you disdain.

A captive to whom you condemn, negative feelings that chain.

Feelings that damage and wound strengthen the ties that bind.

Emotions that cripple and harm, awareness and courage to find.

Awareness of what anchors, emotions of a negative state;

Courage to call to let go of what fails to liberate.

Drop the feeling. Lose the pain. Free yourself. Break the chain.

Drop the feeling. Lose the pain. Free yourself. Much to gain.
