You wouldn’t know faith without fear. You wouldn’t know far without near.
You wouldn’t know up without down. You wouldn’t know joy without frown.
They each define one another. This is duality.
They cannot exist on their own. They arise mutually.

There are infinite combinations of Yins and Yangs that apply.
You wouldn’t know well without sick. You wouldn’t know slow without quick.
You wouldn’t know good without bad. You wouldn’t know sane without mad.
They each define one another. This is duality.
