Distracted

Another place to visit, another choice to make;

Another club to join, another job to take.

Speeding fast and hard, a busy frantic pace;

Always on the go, activities to chase.

Distractions to pursue that help one run away

From an undesired self, denied and kept at bay.

Truth to be aware of, truth to set one free;

Contentment’s found within, through self-discovery.

Another toy to play with, another vice to fight;

Another dream to seek, another wrong to right.
