Challenges Of Life

Updated: Jan 9, 2023

There’s much to overcome. There’s much to endure and bear.

We each will have our struggles; that’s something we all share.

With the hand that I’ve been dealt, I’m doing the best I can,

Just taking it day by day like my kindred fellow man.

No spirit is immune from the challenges of life.

No spirit is exempt from their lot of woe and strife.

I guess it’s what we’re here for: to learn, to gain, to grow.

Some seem to learn in leaps and bounds, while others take it slow.

With the hand that I’ve been dealt, I’m doing the best I can,

Just taking it day by day like my kindred fellow man.

No spirit is immune from the challenges of life.

No spirit is exempt from their lot of woe and strife.

I suspect that it’s all relative. Just how, I can’t explain.

I choose to believe there’s purpose in our conflicts and our pain.
