"Blessed Are They That Mourn"

After the shock and depression, after the pain of grief,

Comes the later stage of mourning; surrender that brings some relief.

Grief is replaced by mourning as acceptance moves in and takes hold.

Mourning turns to healing as the heart starts to warm from the cold.

“For they shall be comforted” by relinquishing what has been.

Mourning can heal with blessings when acceptance and faith begin.

Mourning brings forth releasing. Mourning brings forth “letting go.”

You are blessed when you are made whole again through tears that freely flow.

There is a time to heal. There is a time to release everything.

Doors to the future will open with blessings of love to bring.
