In the core of every spirit, extending deep within,

         Breathes a spark that burns divine, protected from man’s sin.

 

A brilliant perfect spark, beautiful and grand,

         Impervious to harm by man’s destructive hand.

 

Remembering it’s always there, to nurture back with tender care;

         A place where one can always start, to heal a body, soul and heart.

 

It cannot be extinguished by man’s abuse or shame.

         Only love can touch it, restoring spark to flame.
